UDig designs, builds, and implements technology solutions that deliver on business objectives. The first place $5000 scholarship is made possible through a sponsorship by UDig. Scholarship funds will be applied to the winners' freshman, fall academic semester. Recipients will need to provide WiTT with college enrollment and financial aid information for payment processing. WiTT will award a $5,000 First Place Scholarship and a $2500 Runner Up Scholarship. To encourage more women to consider careers in technology and bring more gender diversity to the industry, the WiTT College Scholarship is designed for female high school seniors in the Nashville Metropolitan Statistical Area who will be enrolling in college with the intent to pursue a career in a technology-related field.
